Con La Forgia a casa con l\u2019influenza, mister Moramarco si affida a Raguso, Monitillo, Topputi, Renna, Branco, Rodriguez e Boccuzzi. Dopo i primi due set la partita \u00e8 ancora aperta. Infatti nel primo parziale il Maglie vince 25-23, riuscendo a trovare l\u2019allungo decisivo nel finale, mentre nel secondo l\u2019Acqua Amata ristabilisce la parit\u00e0 imponendosi 22-25. Nel terzo set, dopo un equilibrio iniziale, il Turi cede di colpo e smette di giocare. Errori in ricezione ed errori in attacco condizionano il proseguimento del set, che il Maglie chiude nettamente 25-15. Nel quarto set l\u2019inizio turese \u00e8 da dimenticare. Il Maglie si porta sull\u20198-4 e costringe Topputi e compagne ad inseguire. Pian piano il Turi cresce e ribalta la situazione. Gli attacchi di Topputi e Rodriguez sono imprendibili e con il punteggio di 18-25 si va al tie-break. Nel quinto e decisivo parziale l\u2019Acqua Amata concede ancora troppo nella prima fase andando sotto 8-4. La squadra del patron Tardi cerca di rientrare subito, ma riesce soltanto ad accorciare fino al 9-7.
